Email To Register Account Never Came Through

I created a new forum yesterday and input all of the necessary credentials. The Forum was successfully created but I never got an email to register my account. when I click on the account of who made the forum (myself) it says I am not registered which means I cannot log in and use the forum how I wish to. any help is much appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

Have you checked the spam folder at your email provider's web site. Some mail services sometimes treat Nabble's mails as spam.

If you can confirm that then you'll need to post the URL of your forum so Nabble can investigate.

The alternative might be to abandon the one you have just created and create a new one.

Thanks Greg, but no it is not in any other folder in my email. This is the forum I created.

If it does come to me needing to recreate this forum will it be possible for the Nabble team to delete the original forum and user I tried to make so I can start again with the same names and so on?

One possibility that occurs to me is that you have mistyped your email address when you created your forum.

I have just registered on your forum and sent you an email. If that does not arrive it would suggest that you mistyped your email address and the confirmation email has gone to the wrong place or into a black hole.

If you don't get my email then you can happily ignore your previous forum and create another one. The original will eventually die as part of Nabble's housekeeping routines.

Ok it would seem this is the case. Thank you so much for your help, I will make a new one. One final thing, do you know if it is possible to create the same forum again with the same name and the same user I tried to create? If it is not, will there be any way nabble could delete the forum now rather than waiting? Thanks in advanced

I can now confirm that you entered an invalid email address. The mail I sent has been returned to me with an "account does not exist" message from GMail.

I'm as sure as I can be that you won't be able to create an identically named forum immediately, but it should be possible once the original becomes deleted. However, that may take an unacceptably long time unless you put in a support request here, quoting the URL of the redundant forum. Having said that Free support can be a little slow at the moment.

I have never tried it, but if may well be possible to change the name of a forum immediately after you create it as its uniqueness must be, in part, determined by the "code numbers" incorporated within a new forum's URL. I can only suggest you try it.
