Email Privacy not in place

I am a member of this forum : http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/ which is hosted by nabble. My email address that i used to register with an account there is not private and in fact when I search on the web for my email address, it returns links to that website showing my registered account name and email address with all my posts. How can this be rectified? Shouldn't our email addresses be private/hidden on a forum?

Hi Pedro,
My user name on that forum hosted by nabble is 'cremebrulee' and you will see my email address next to it (I don't want to list it here).

When i searched for my email address on the web these are the first 4 links that are returned, if you search each link for 'cremebrulee', you will also see my email address listed next to it :

These sites are not hosted by Nabble, so we cannot do anything if your information has been showed there. On the other hand, our site http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/ , hides your email address when it shows up on a search.
