Edit This Page Link

runtothefinish
I am concerned that the edit this page link is visible to everyone. I don't know who might click it and do something to the HTML. Is there a way to hide it or should I not be concerned.

I am referring only to the link at the lower right, not the admin options.

Re: Edit This Page Link

Have you tried clicking the "See how NAML generates this page" link on this Nabble Support forum?

If you generate a second ordinary user for yourself and try it on your forum you'll find the same thing happens.

Nabble see the link as part of their advertising the benefits of their product.

No harm can come to your forum by it being there - unless you promote someone inappropriate to the "Administrator" group in your forum.

If you really object to it then you'll find there are some forum owners who edit the link so it just displays "NAML" as a way of reducing its impact.
Volunteer Helper - but recommending that users move off the platform!
Once the admin for GregHelp now deleted.

To do this, go there(See how NAML...), click on the green wheel(top-left) and "search macro"
Search for macro_viewer_page_link
"override this macro" > rename it to NAML or something > "save changes"
