Hi,
I know we have already covered this and your changes regarding the additional arrow indicator have been a great help. Thankyou. I have another issue with this that I would like to raise with you please. Links are not showing as visited at each forum/category level having visited one all should change. Also links that have been visited and have been read totally up to date are showing as not visited at all. I have a screen shot that shows this. If you have a look at the last post column you will see a number of them showing as vames. That's me yet they are not showing as having been visited despite the fact that not only have they been visited they have been read and as far as I'm concerned are completely up to date with every single thread and discussion having been read. ![]() These links should all show as being read There appears to be no logic behind the links changing colour for visited links at different levels. It's almost as if there is a total reliance on the browser logic rather than business logic if that makes sense. Thanks James |

1. prefer threaded view
2. <http://n2.nabble.com/General-chit-chat-f2122646ef2122406.html> 3. focus on the Last Post column 4. aim for a topic that has 0 (zero) replies 5. click the date of that post 6. allow a few moments to read the post 7. click Return to forum 8. in the Last Post column: the link colour has changed (indicates that the link has been visited); and the unread marker no longer appears. Bug In the Topics column of the table of topics: • the link colour remains unchanged • the unread marker persists. Environment • Firefox 3.0.6 and Safari 4 Public Beta (5528.16) on Mac OS X 10.5.6 • logged in to the embedded view. |

Observation
Whilst threaded view is preferred: a click on a topic (in the table of topics) does clear the unread marker, and does change the link colour, but only momentarily (before the topic is presented). An alternative approach 1. prefer Classic view 2. return to the forum level, the table of topics; under the Topics heading, click a topic 3. allow time to read the topic 4. browse back, or click Return to forum, or follow the breadcrumb trail back to the forum 5. in the Topics column: the link colour has changed (indicates that the link has been visited); and the unread marker no longer appears. Bug In the Last Post column of the table of topics: • the link colour remains unchanged • the unread marker persists. Environment Safari 4 Public Beta (5528.16) on Mac OS X 10.5.6. Logged in to the embedded view. |

Now using Firefox 3.0.7, the symptom persists.
Please: should this be viewed as a bug, or as a request for enhancement? |

I wonder whether any of the symptoms described in this topic are related to the bugs noted at <http://n2.nabble.com/-tp2576526p2582673.html> …
