Deleting Members Posts

As an owner am I not able to delete a members comment??

I am getting very confused here.

On some comments in the dropdown menu I have the ability to delete that comment.  On others I don't.

One member has made two identical comments one after the other in the same thread and I wish to delete one on them.  On neither is there a link to delete.

Sounds like another case of Admin menu options disappearing.

Normally, only the author of a most or admin status people will have that menu option.

I did try that, and no luck.  But I found another work around.

I moved the one I wanted to delete to a post alone.  On that the delete link was there.

I could only do that though as it was the last post in the thread.  Because am I correct in thinking that if I move a reply that has already had replies clicked to answer that particularly that on moving it, it will also move all replies to that reply?  If you can follow what I mean.

I am so very new to Nabble that I am still finding out how it all works you see.
