Correctly creating sub forums?

Hi,

I am very much new to all of this and I am sorry if these seems a really basic question. I have been able to work out most of the things I need to do - However, I cannot seem to arrange sub forums correctly.

I want to be able to create 4/5  sub forums off my main page. Each is for a different purpose.

This is what it currently looks like.....and users would have to click on the sub forums to find out a brief over view of what they are. I want it to be obvious and show the descripton from the home page.



I want it to have each sub forum more obvious [rather than just look like posts] and with a little description underneath rather than having to click into it to find out what it is.

Experiment with Nabble's various applications. It appears that you have your top level set as "Forum", but you might find "Board" or "Category" what you are after.

Options > Application > Change Application Type

You can mix applications at the different levels, often "Forum" is all you need at the bottom.
