Comments not posting

I have a newspaper set up on one of my websites that is no longer posting comments. I believe its the human verification that is not functioning correctly. When I tried to post a comment without registering and I fill in the code and hit post I get the message that I post back up on the screen with the same code that was there when I tried to post the first time.

A glitch in the system I presume. Post settings have already been check and it is set to allow anyone to comment.

Well what ever was causing the problem it has cleared itself up.
