Can not log in

   Hi,
     I am unable to log in on the Compass metal detector forum. Nabble has verified that I am using the correct password and my email address is still the same but no success.Please help or advise!!

You can try to register again just to make sure you have an account with Nabble. If you still have problems after that, then you can post here your email or send a private message to me and I will investigate.

I am new at this - sorry if this is a dumb question.

Is getting users on your forum a 2 step process? My first user "signed up" but I don't see any evidence of him.

I understand now that the only "evidence" of a poster are their posts on your forum. They are not really signing up for YOUR forum, they are becoming a member of nabble.  You can delete their posts and ban them but they will always be nabble members.

This is true, but we are currently changing how this idea works. Soon registration will be specific to forums, as well as avatars, user names, etc.

That sounds like a great upgrade.

Still my wife can't get on to nabble.

When we use her yahoo mail it accepts it (multiple times) but we get no confirm email (checked spam).

When we try her gmail it says - that name is already taken.

Anything you could do on the back end?

If you want, I can delete the pending registration from the database so that she can register with Gmail and the same user name. Just let me know the email and user name she used to register and I will clear that registration (you can send this information to my email:  h u g o [at] n a b b l e [dot] c o m).
