Breached Email Address

How would a poster be able to obtain my private email address, I don't see that option anywhere, yet I was written directly to my private email by another forum user.

We don't display emails because spammers could abuse this feature. But, as you said, we can send the email on your behalf: just open the user profile (click on his/her avatar or user name) and click on "Send email to...".
