Am I really this slow? The forum I am customizing has no 'edit this forum' button?

I've done what I can under the 'options' tab, but I am not finding a way to create child forums and segregate topics. There has to be something that is in plain sight and I'm just a dummy. Thanks, John

You need to be logged in with your Admin username, then you will see additional options.

To create a child forum:
OPTIONS > STRUCTURE > CREATE NEW SUB-FORUM

I am logged in, I have created subforums, I am looking to segregate subforums by topics much like other forums that have a definite and graphic difference between subforums where each forum lists some subtopics. Maybe I'm missing something?
For instance:

Where there are Topics, Blogger games, Introduce Yourself etc.

I must be missing something.

Ah! Now I see what you mean!

Change your top level application to "Mixed".

OPTIONS > APPLICATIONS > CHANGE APPLICATION TYPE > MIXED
