Advanced Profile Settings

Harvey
This post was updated on .
How hard is it to disable the Advance Profile Settings in an individual forum?

I'm hoping to do this before forum users discover them.

I don't want forum users changing text width or font size, as I feel it will make the format less elegant to have people doing that.

Also as admin I want to be able to see who is online.

EDIT: It occurs to me that maybe I dont understand how this works. When someone changes font size, or column width does how does that work? Does everyone see it in that persons posts?

No. Those advanced settings affect only the computer of the user. If the font size is changed - for example - the user will see that font size in all posts of your forum. This is useful when the user can't read small font sizes or when the screen is too wide, so a narrow column width may improve readability for that user. Please confirm that you want us to remove that "Advanced Settings" option from the profile menu of your apps.

OK. I tried it here and was able to make the font size change but not the width.  If it is just resident on that computer I am ok with those features.

I would like as admin to be able to see hidden users too.

Are other advanced feature on the way?

We fixed the width feature, so it should work now (only in the current computer).

We implemented this. All administrators can now see everyone that is online (all Nabble apps have this feature).

Templates, but we still need a few weeks before releasing it.
