2nd-level posting authorization support?

How feasible would it be for Nabble 2 to add a level of posting authorization such that only authorized users can read, but only a 2nd set of authorized users can post?

This can be useful for announcement-only subforums, for example.

For a announcement-only subforum, you can use the option "Everyone Can View, Only Authorized Can Post" - with this option, the "Everyone" means "Everyone" in the parent forum. So, you can restrict "who can view" in the parent forum. Does it make sense?
