how do we get polls?

For now, you should try to find an embeddable poll from other websites. Users will be able to build a poll widget when we release the templates/modules feature in some months.

But there is no embeddable code there.
Only html code or direct link.
How to embed it to my forum?

This is an eight year old topic. Things move on.

If you want to create a poll simply click on the "Add new poll" link when posting a new topic.

Administrators always have the permission to add a poll. Other groups can have the permission added through the Change Permissions screen.

Thank but I can't  find this option.

Anyway, the option I see is to embed code, together with youtube, which works perfect, embed from https://polldaddy.com
But it doesn't work the way I see.

Polls within Nabble were first announced in July 2012.

Things have changed again since that announcement. They have been fully integrated into the standard product and the additional option appears to users in all groups that have the Create_poll permission turned on. In the image below I have ringed the option in red.


As ever, it's worth adding a second user for yourself so you can test exactly how it works as an ordinary user, as Administrators see more than a ordinary user will.

As seen below, administrators always have the permission. It cannot be granted to those in the "Anyone" group.
