I'd like to make a change to my spam group. Right now people in that group can only post once a day, but one offender takes that one post and continues to edit it.
Can I remove the ability from those in the spam group to edit their post after it is posted?

I've made this change, please take a look and let me know if you have any issues. |
Not sure how to check this without putting myself into spam. Can you show me where the code is? I may need a way to turn this feature on and off. Click on the "is_bad_guy" macro and you will understand how it works. You can revert the changes on the can_edit macro evenever you want. It is quite easy to do/revert this change.

So I could just remove the group name "Spam" and leave it as it and add the word back when I want to re-enable? I am not sure I understand what you mean. If you want to revert only this change to the can_edit macro, then you should revert only the can_edit line 6. If you want to suddenly change the entire "Spam" group and make everyone in that list free to post whatever they want, then you can change the is_bad_guy macro (or you can just save the list of emails somewhere else and leave the Spam group empty).

If I want to let the spam group edit I could change the work "Spam" to "Spa" and it should work. ? Yes, but if you change the is_bad_guy macro as you described (i.e., change the is_in_group condition to point to "Spa"), then the Spam group will be free to do whatever they want (e.g., not only edit, but also have signature links, etc).

OK. Just looking for an easy way to turn it on and off without having to remember where I kept the code. :) On Sun, Oct 25, 2015 at 9:24 PM, Hugo <Nabble> [via Nabble Support] <[hidden email]> wrote: Yes, but if you change the is_bad_guy macro as you described (i.e., change the is_in_group condition to point to "Spa"), then the Spam group will be free to do whatever they want (e.g., not only edit, but also have signature links, etc).
