search details - multilingual

asaakius
Hi,
I'm looking around Nabble for the first time and I think it's brilliant! It's also extremely convenient to have such an embeddable and customizable forum. Great effort!

I have a question about the search feature.

I'm assuming the search on this Nabble Support forum is a demo of its own search feature?
More importantly, will this feature work for a multilingual forum? What db is used at the backend - does it support Unicode for non-Roman alphabets, and RTL languages as well?

Yes, search just works on all Nabble forums. You can also search from Nabble homepage and you will see it works as well as Google's search.

We care a lot about search. It should be fast and accurate.

Yes. We use Lucene (an open source search library) for the search backend. It works across the board.
