multiple account mergers (in particular: Nabble 1 and Nabble 2); or single search syntax to find posts by both

Graham Perrin
I see

Manage Nabble Accounts
<http://n2.nabble.com/user/ManageAccounts.jtp
and something like its predecessor,
Add Another Nabble Account
<http://www.nabble.com/user/Attach.jtp
both relating to master accounts.

I also see:

How does the master account work?

> If you have multiple accounts with Nabble, you CANNOT merge them into a single one.

Please, will there ever be a way to merge accounts?

Failing that, is there a search syntax that can find posts by my
multiple user identities (Nabble 1 user=420209)+(Nabble 2 user=19440)
in one query?

Thanks

Graham

n1 and n2 are two separate systems, so, merging accounts across these two are not possible. If you have two different accounts in n1 or in n2, you can search both accounts by the following syntax:

author:"Your Username" OR author:"Your Username2" ...

Nabble use Lucene for search, and it has many advanced search options. You can do a search, and after the "Search" button, you can see "Show Tips" link, click it to show the tips.

Single (Lucene) search of both Nabble 1 and Nabble 2?

Thanks, the layout of the advanced search form is very human-friendly (it's one of the reasons I love Nabble(s)) but just to clarify:

* it's possible for a _single_ search result to comprise the 731 (333 messages found in Nabble 1 the 398 in Nabble 2) messages posted by me?

Put another way, the sum of
<http://www.nabble.com/user/UserPosts.jtp?user=420209
+
<http://n2.nabble.com/user/UserNodes.jtp?user=19440>

TIA

Sorry, the answer is no. Nabble1 and Nabble2 are two independent systems. Eventually Nabble1 will all migrate to Nabble2.
