forum download/backup to xml failed

hi, i'm "shopping" for a new bulletin board software and nabble looks promising, but when i tried to download the few test posts i've made on my test forum i got this in an email:

Can you reproduce this error consistently? Just try to export your forum again and let me know what happens. Thanks for reporting this issue.

I got an error too. But I tried again and it worked. It was quick too.

I'd been hesitating to try it because of the note about it taking up to 5 hours.

The whole thing took a few seconds.  Guess that's because we've only got a few hundred posts.
