explicit spam on landertalk forum

Hi all,

We were alerted this morning from other subscribers of the Landertalk forum to a pair of postings there that are completely inappropriate for a family type list and are definitely spam and really need to be removed from the forum as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, Nabble is currently suffering a sustained attack by spammers. I know the team is working hard to  overcome it.

For the time being, it is the individual forum administrator that you need to approach to get inappropriate postings removed. They have the ability to ban users and delete posts.

Well, that's just it. I am the administrator of the list and don't see any options for deleting posts. I am not the original creator of this forum but based on a previous support issue should have been made an administrator for the forum.

There are two possible options that appear to Administrators.

You must be logged in using your Administrator email address and viewing the text of the topic and any replies (not just the topic subject line on a summary screen) then you will see these:

Options > Delete this topic

and against individual messages

More > Delete this post

You can ban the user...
This will give you 2 options: 1. Ban this user, and 2. Delete all of their postings.
