What do Admins do? Need help with posting a thread w/priority.

Hi,

I was just made an admin at our site.  I'm not sure what we do.  Can anyone answer that???  What I was interested in doing was being able to start a thread that stays at the top of the forum (that would have the red tack icon next to it).  Is that something I can do?  

The owner of the site said he doesn't know how I would go about doing that, and that if I can't find a way to do it, then I can send him the thread info and he'll post it with the red tack for priority.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is anyone there able to answer my questions or no?  Are admins not able to post threads w/priority, or is it something that I'm overlooking?  That's my main question.  

If the answer is no, that's okay.  We'll work around it.  However, I would like to be sure.

I guess you are talking about pinned topics. To pin a topic, you can open it and click on Options > Pin this topic. Is this what you need?
