Threads lock up after 50 pages of posts

Hi Nabblers!  Is it common for a thread to freeze up after 50 pages of posts?  Seems every thread does this and after page 50 no one can access the last page.  Is there a way to override or fix this?  Thx!

Our threads are limited to 1000 posts for performance reasons. When a thread reach this limit, you should start a new one.
