Post via email do not appear in the forum

Hi,

Are you currently having issues with sending posts via email? Because I can't seem to send mine via my email (the nabble recognized email) which is [hidden email] and the unique email address assigned is [hidden email] and my forum is http://task-clarification-board.853680.n3.nabble.com/. When I sent the post, it did not show up in the forum for hours now.

I would greatly appreciate your looking into this.

I cannot post via email, too. It seems because my email vladas#palubinskas.lt is hosted by Google MX server as an alias to another domain with the same login - vladas#online.lt.

When I send from another SMTP server or directly, the post is accepted.

Hi Mike, I can't reproduce this problem. Please try again and let me know if it continues to happen. Also, do you have any kind of email configuration that could hide or change your emails headers so that Nabble can't identify it?

Hi Vladas, your case is different. Maybe you should get the Nabble address for your alias then, instead of the one for your real email. If you log out and then visit the "Options > Post by email" page, you will see a form where you can enter any email. So you can try your alias and let me know whether it worked or not.

No, I have got the same posting address, which already have for my account. And it does not reach the forum over Gmail.

Maybe you should get the Nabble address for your alias then, instead of the one for your real email.

Not really. The "Options > Post by email" page just sends the Nabble address to you. It doesn't invite to you be a subscribe, as the other feature does.

That's ok. If you change your mind in the future, just get the Nabble address for the email that Nabble finds in the headers.
