Please fix the embedding code of your Nabble application "LOA Computer Help plus" as soon as possible

ClaudeMobetta
Hello -
I got the folowing message today from Nabble -

What am I supposed to do?
Embed it where?
Is  that my new URL for LOA Computer Help plus...
They don't explain much

Dear ClaudeMobetta,

Please fix the embedding code of your Nabble application "LOA Computer Help plus" as soon as possible because Nabble will stop supporting that code in a few days. Here is the code you should use in your HTML page:

LOA Computer Help plus
<script src="http://http://loa-computer-help-plus.2634207.n2.nabble.com/embed/f2634207"></script>
Here is the link to your application:
http://loa-computer-help-plus.2634207.n2.nabble.com/

If you don't update your HTML page, the embedded application will stop working. Note that we won't send more emails about this issue and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Sincerely,
The Nabble team

Hugo <Nabble>
If you received that email, it is because someone visited your forum embedded in a HTML page that still has the old Nabble snippet. If you don't care about such HTML pages, then you can just ignore the message and let the embedding break when we stop supporting the old snippet.

Hi Hugo

OK - so I don't need to do anything - and my visitors will still be able to get to my Nabble Site "LOA" without me doing anything? CORRECT? (I Hope?)

No, you should update your embedding code if you want your users to have access to it in the future.

Just go to Options menu, select "embedding options", copy the code and replace the old one.

The code is wrong anyway (http duplicated):

<script src=" http://http:// loa-computer-help-plus.2634207.n2.nabble.com/embed/f2634207"></script>

Maybe it was a typo but your original post had the http:// duplicated in the embed code you posted. As long as it's <script src="http://loa-computer-help-plus.2634207.n2.nabble.com/embed/f2634207"></script>  it should be fine.

Thanks -

Never could figure out why that is needed in the first place...

When somneone goes to my site - they go to:

http://loa-computer-help-plus.2634207.n2.nabble.com/embed/f2634207

So when they get to the site - what in the Embeding Options - makes any difference?
The visitors are alreay there - at my site...

But do I only need 1 URL? Like:

 <script src="http://loa-computer-help-plus.2634207.n2.nabble.com/embed/f2634207"></script>

I have 2 codes in there now??

I am not the sharpest tool  - DUH no kidding...

Thanks Claude

Claude,
I think what they're trying to tell you is somewhere you had the old embed code hanging around and it was picked up and generated that auto message to helpfully let you know it will stop working soon. If you are not embedding your forum on another site, it's not an issue.  In other words if you're using the Nabble url and don't want your forum to show on another site, the embed code is irrelevant.
As an example, we use the Nabble embed code so we can display a Nabble forum on our web site. If you're not doing that, you can ignore the message.
