Newbie - Howto post to forum with email

hi, sorry hv to post this but i cant find ways to post to a forum here. i hv try many forms of email address but it just bounce back.

i would like to make a post to http://freeradius.1045715.n5.nabble.com/ and i hv try many different email address like -
[e-mail]
[e-mail]
[e-mail]
.
.
.
but none works. pls advice.

First question,are you a member of that site and have registered?

You can't just post to any site without being a member,  those addresses are clearly not email addresses anyway so would not work.

Come back if/when you are registered if there is still a problem .

And to add to your questions , Geofredo,  has the OP actually read the forum in question. It clearly states that it is a read only archive. That'said why there is neither a "New Topic" link nor a "Post via email" link under the Options menu.

You also find, if you look under the "Sub-forums" link, that the forum contains archives for two separate mail lists. There are instructions on how to subscribe to each there.

The one thing that could be improved is that rather than say "You can only post messages by email" it might be better explained as "You can only post via the mail list."

hi, thanks all for replying.

yes, im subscribe to that site. i can login and view my profile and see if there is any post etc.

and just notice about the 2 sub-category and it did show us the mailing list email where we could post to.

but i just cant seems to find the mailing list for the main category.

will try to email its Owner and ask.

There is no mail list for the "main category". This is a feature of the Nabble archive only. Look at the right hand column and you can see to which of the two mail lists, Users or Developers, any message was posted.

You need to subscribe to either or both of the mail lists, depending where you wish to post. There will be no way to make a single subscription that allows you to post to both.
