I have a wix html site, I want a forum that isnt linked to facebook posts, I see that the number of posts about using Nabble with Wix has decreased, is this an indication that the two are not compaitble or have limitations. I am sure this has been covered in posts so sorry for asking again, I am not very technical hence using Wix for a site.
 is there a limit to the number of threads and replies?
can I remove the edit this site, because someone will try

I myself using Nabble & Wix (flash) combined & all goes Ok so far.
I dont think there's a limit for the number of threads & replies posted. If you mean the number of them displayed per page, then you go to Options > Application > Change Appearance > Preferences
To remove the Edit This Page - search for macro_viewer_page_link macro & remove the <a href="[n.macro_viewer_page_path/]" rel="nofollow">Edit this page line.
