Nabble to replace blog

Nalicter
I've been wanting to use a Nabble forum to replace a family blog that I have.

However, I'm a little concerned about something.

If I use it like a blog, I don't want to publicize it on the Nabble main page, and the list of forums that follows. Also, it would be nice if I could opt not to have it indexed in search engines (although I'm all for most of my forums being indexed).

Will these options exist in future?

Anyway—just curious.

Also, when the private forum feature comes about, will there also be an option to make single threads private in a similar fashion (i.e. only invited people can view it)? Or, is that too much overhead? If so, it would be nice if they didn't have to accept an invitation to view the thread—I mean, just make it viewable to anyone I put in.

We will offer a blog soon. Blog is the same as a forum in code and structure, only difference is the UI.

A blog or forum can be private, thus invisible to non-authorized users  or search engines.

As for private thread, yes we can, but it's quite unusual to mix private threads with public ones which will confuse a lot of discussions because those who see it may assume everyone can see it.

Thanks for asking.

We could get it out in two weeks. But meanwhile, you can just write a blog using a forum. When we launch the blog feature, it's just a "view" - so your content can choose to appear in forum view, or in blog view.
