Nabble and data protection

tkrahn
Hi,

how can it be that Nabble publishes the content of a mailinglist without any permission to do that? I'm the owner of a few mailinglists and I found purely by chance the content of two lists here. I never asked Nabble to archive the lists and I never asked Nabble to publish them. I found out in November 2008 and wrote a message to Nabble - asking for deleting the lists content in their database - no response.

What can I do to stop the publishing?

thanks,
Torsten

Nabble is a mailing list archive. Users can request to archive a public mailing list. If your mailing list is public, it may get archived in many places. If you are the owner of the list and you don't want it archived on nabble, we can delete it. Please post the link to the archive, and we will delete it.

Hi Will,

thanks for your reply!

I sent you the link to the archive and a possible way to verify that I'm the real owner by mail two days before. Please delete the archived content.

Thanks,
Torsten
