Re: My forum does not appear

Almost certainly because of the https:// at the beginning of your link.

Check out my post at: http://greghelp.991552.n3.nabble.com/Nabble-and-SSL-https-td4012780.html

and a good many queries on this forum.

Re: My forum does not appear

I recall that other blogspot users have had difficulty with embedding their forums

does this post provide the answer:
http://support.nabble.com/Embedding-nabble-forum-into-blogspot-td7584104.html

This post pointed to the same topic:
http://support.nabble.com/How-To-Add-a-Forum-To-Your-Blogspot-Blog-td7598121.html#a7598123
and as there was no further response it could suggest the solution worked for them too!

Re: My forum does not appear

During 6 or 7 years, my forum was embedded perfectly.
The problem has appeared a few days ago.

I tried to restart the forum but it is not possible. There is no way to do.
Then, I have asked for my apps and I have received this email:

Dear Nabble user,

Here are your Nabble apps:

Re: My forum does not appear

When I click the link to your forum it goes to a "Forum no Longer Available" page. That would suggest it's been deleted.

Often that happens because of inactivity - but you should have received warning emails and even one sending you a link to an archive, so it could be restored in the future. Do check your Spam folder to see if such messages are there.

However, if the forum is deleted I wouldn't expect you to get a notice giving its URL.

It is also very confusing that over the last few months some of Nabble's system messages display under a "Jmeter" forum - but that part has become expected.

This does look like a Nabble issue that needs to be resolved - but do check if you have messages in your spam folder.

Re: My forum does not appear

Yes, certainly, I received a message few months ago but I got it not be deleted.
I dont know if these days I have received another inactivity message.
It is possible but now my spam folder is empty.

If the forum would be deleted, by nabble then, there is no way to recover it?

Re: My forum does not appear

If it is likely to be more than a few days old then Nabble are unlikely to have got a copy. They rely on users keeping their own copy of individual forums through:

Options > Download backup

Their backups are primarily there to recover from a server crash and they update them at least nightly and, as I understand it, over-write backups that are more than a few days old.

I fear that if you have not got a copy of the email with the link to the backup at the time of deletion then your forum will be lost.

Pieatierra
ok, thank you anyway.
My forum was not important, only for personal notes.
Best regards,
Joseba.
