Member can't login

Harvey
Don't have much to go on:

"Every time I hit reply, it tells me I have to log on and the correct password/logon isn't working. I tried sending my password to my e-mail, but it never told me what my new password was. it just said

" your new password is at (link)."

If I followed the link, it would log me in, but I still couldn't respond. It would log me out again when I hit reply."

Did he confirm the registration by clicking on the link sent to his e-mail?
Maybe he could also clear cache and cookies?

He's got over 100 posts in the forum. This is a new issue.

Is there a way I can set  preferences so that when I post in this forum my "alert me" box below is automatically checked?

This is probably a cache issue. So deleting the browser cache should fix this.

Are we talking about Ted here?
If yes, then this issue is solved because his password was successfully retrieved by email.
Please confirm.

Re: Member can't login

I am now experiencing a similar issue.

I'm logged in, and went to change my advanced settings. It allowed me into my settings but when I tried to save it asked me to log in again even though i was logged in. It generated an ongoing loop.

Re: Member can't login

This could also be related to a javascript error on the page. Please check the error console in firefox if you see the issue again. Thanks.
