Lost of administrator function after migration?

InformationSpecialist
Hi Nabble,

My forum is http://research-methods-in-music-mus7260.965600.n3.nabble.com.  I am the administrator, but for some reason, I have lost my administrator function.  As the owner and administrator of the forum, I should be able to change the post date, to copy the embed code, etc., but I am not able to do it at all except viewing or posting the messages.  I remember I was prompted to migrate my forum from n1 to n2 (or n2 to n3??  i couldn't remember what exactly), and I did as required.  But since then, I've lost my admin status.  Any advise?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Katie

Hi Katie, please try logging out and logging in again. If the problem persists, please post the options you currently see in the menus and I will take a closer look.

Hi Hugo

Thank you sooooo much for your help and reply.

I've already logged in and logged out many times, even using different computers, but I still cannot change the post date, edit/delete/move post or even see the "manage users & user groups".  However, I remember clearly that before the migration, I was able to do all those.

I've attached a couple of screenshots for your reference.  One is my profile, which says I'm the admin--but I am also the owner of the forum, does it show or is the setting done correctly?  The other image is the option available for me when I logg in as owner.  I only see "subscribe via email".

I know many other people have the same problems.  I will be happy to spread the solution around.

Million thanks!
Katie

Re: Lost of administrator function-is this a Nabble-wide problem?

Help! I have the same problem!

I've been locked out from the admin functions in all my forums. As I have some 12 forums across three sites, I wonder if this is a Nabble-wide problem?

When I log in as admin and click on Options, I get just: 'Subscribe via email'. So I can't access my admin features or even edit my own posts. The problem has persisted since am Saturday 12th Feb. I've logged in and out endlessly. Same result.

Here are two sample forums affected:

http://writers-village-forum.213250.n3.nabble.com/
http://the-i-hate-christmas-blog.990231.n3.nabble.com

Am I locked out because I haven't paid you any money? I'm lusting to pay - but for traffic not support. (Which is always excellent, free, anyway )

Just a thought! In view of the fact there's a change of server involved, and Hugo suggested logging out/in, could this be a cookie problem? Have you also tried clearing all nabble.com cookies?

I am having the same issue. Creator/Owner/Administrator - logged in and out multiple times - cleaned out cookies and all temp files - Nothing has worked to restore the Administrator function. Thank you for all your tech support, I look forward to the solution.
