Importing info from old forum

Shamblesguru
Is it possible to import all the data from an old forum such as e.g. http://chiangmai-geeks.phpbb3now.com/index.php into a newly created Nabble Forum.

Or even link the two so  mirrored.

p.s. am highly impressed with the offerings on Nabble .. and doing what I can to spread the word at www.shambles.net which is for educators.

Regards

Chris

Re: Importing info from old forum

Claude
I am guess "Importing data" is the best way to go - I don't know how to do that - or if it is possible...

But.....
Linking (Redirect) is easy - if ya know some HTML code -

Change http://chiangmai-geeks.phpbb3now.com/index.php

To:   http://chiangmai-geeks.phpbb3now.com/index2.php (NEW SITE - note the index2))

And send to your hosting service.

Then at old address: http://chiangmai-geeks.phpbb3now.com/index.php
Add the reload code plus new address and send to host service.

You could have it reload in 2 seconds to the com/index2/php site.

So viewer goes to your old address - and in 2 (1) seconds it auto reloads the new site: com/index2/php ---
Or whatever you named the new siteā€¦

Easy if you have your own Hosting Service...

But maybe easier if you could import - maybe some one has that answer?
