How do I claim ownership of a mailing list?

weierophinney
I am Project Lead on Zend Framework. Our previous project lead left the company, but apparently his personal work address was used to register our mailing lists with Nabble.

This has left us with a problem: our Nabble forums were migrated to Nabble2, but now we have no way of getting the codes to embed them on our site (http://framework.zend.com/archives).

I'd like to register a team address as owner for the forums we've registered. Can someone please assist me?

I set you as the owner of that archive (after checking your participation in the project). Feel free to embed it on the website and let me know if you need any help.

Awesome -- I have it now embedding properly again.

Two more questions/issues, then:

First, would it be possible for us to use a team email for use with Nabble administration? That would make it possible for anyone on my team to administer our lists/forums on Nabble, and also prevent issues such as this one, where a member left the project, from occurring in the future. We have a small team in-house at Zend who would be on the email alias; it would not be open to a large number of people.

Second, we have a problem with aggregation of the zf-contributors@lists.zend.com mailing list on Nabble; basically, it's not aggregating. Can you assist us with that? Ideally, I'd like to get old emails into Nabble as well, so that threads are open for public viewing.

Thanks!

Yes. You can register that email address and add it as an administrator of your forums. Or would you like it to be the owner/creator of those Zend forums?

I tried to subscribe the archive by sending an email to zf-contributors-subscribe at lists.zend.com, but I got no confirmation email so far. Is it awaiting moderator approval? Please approve the request if possible.

The email arrived and I finished the subscription process. That archive should work from now on. If you have the MBOX file to import, please let me know.

I'm attaching an MBOX with the full history of the list.

Thanks for your assistance!
