Getting existing google group into nabble

Shay Banon
Hi,

I have a google group here: http://groups.google.com/group/compass-project-user. I have created a forum on nabble: http://n2.nabble.com/compass-project-user-f2591604.html. Is there a way to get all the old messages from the google group into nabble? Seems like users like it better than google group (which says a lot, great job!).

Cheers,
Shay

mbox format for import

Graham Perrin
Standard answer seems to be, mbox format, e.g. <http://n2.nabble.com/importing-mailing-list-archives-tp2084972p2134778.html>.

<http://n2.nabble.com/Archiving-old-messages-tp2169885p2530616.html> raises a question concerning duplication. I recall no related complaints from forum owners so I assume that it's not an issue :)

Regards
Graham

<http://n2.nabble.com/forum/Search.jtp?forum=1&local=y&query=Google+AND+mbox> leads to a similar topic a few months ago. I wonder whether mikenereson followed up with Google…

Google group: export to mbox

Graham Perrin
<http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Groups-Guide> search for mbox export is not particularly encouraging but good luck!
