Forum won't show up on my blog

ang
Hey, I followed all the steps to add a forum to my blog. The "forum" link will appear on my blog. When I click it, it takes me out of my blog. It's hard to explain so I'll link my blog below. https://confessionsofanawakenedyouth.blogspot.ca/

okay, I delved into this deeper. Ang, your tab on your blogspot page for your forum is a direct link to the forum, not they page. This is not correct. You should create the page where the tab linked to your blogspot page. Then on the blogspot page, put the embbed nabble code in the html.

Re: Forum won't show up on my blog

I cannot get my forum to show on my blogger blog page.  I copy and paste the code into a 'new post' on the blog and I just get the name of the forum with the blogger's comment box.  Do I need to post a message in Nabble first?

I am sure I must be doing something silly but am completely stuck - HELP!!!

Hi, the reason is that nabble does not play well with SSL

On my blog blogger  https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5593758086988961541#allpages
there is a special gadget HTML to embed forum. so I think it's not enough to embed forum to new post.
In my case it is somewhere in design section to add

On your blog you have nice buttons - home and forum.
How to make them?

Much has changed at Nabble since haozwang<Nabble> made his post in February this year.

It would be best to post about this issue on one of the more current topics.

Hi Israel,

Thank you for your fast reply.
How long should I wait to see the forum embedded into my blog?
You mentioned that you fixed it by enabling https, however, so far I still only can see the link to my forum in Nabble.

Many thanks again!

Unfortunately, you have not done the necessary thing but something else.

I have a Help page at:
http://greghelp.991552.n3.nabble.com/Embedded-Forums-and-https-td4012846.html
which may assist you. Make sure you have worked through all the sections before 2.3 where you enter your sub-domain at Step 2 on the screenshot there.

Currently, there is no evidence yet that you have embedded your forum in your blog. Had it been embedded correctly and https not been implemented by Nabble you would see a simple link to your forum. If Nabble had implemented https it would display in full as my examples do in their host pages.

When you change the domain name correctly it should show your Nabble forum as this example does:
https://forum.stalhambaptist.org.uk/
(Note how the "Bulletin" sub-forum is embed in a page on the main site, but when you use the "SBC Forum" link you return to the unembedded forum.)

Here is another example where a forum is embedded in the page at:
https://www.seahawk17.org.uk/forum.php
and the embedded forum is assigned to the sub-domain:
https://forum.seahawk17.org.uk/
As you see from the screenshot below the forum is "redirected" meaning that unlike the example above it is not possible to visit the forum without it displaying within the page within which it is embedded.
