Does "Post by Email" still work?

I emailed to "[e-mail]", but it's not showing up in my forum.  It looks like some changes have been made to this feature, because the email now seems like it has to come from a specific email address, so is it still working?

This is not new. An "ml-node..." address has always been linked to a specific email address. This is a spam protection measure designed to prevent someone passing the address on to others in order to spam your forum.
