Different background for quotes?

Can you set a different background for the quotes, in order offset it from the post?  Does this make sense?  An example of this is at www.otherhealth.com

Yes, you should use custom CSS to achieve that goal. You can click on "Options > Editor > Change appearance" and enter a CSS like this:
