Delete All Taged as [SPAM]

Ralf Becker
Hi Support Team,

is there any option, as an admin of the Forum, to delete "All" of the entries, who are "Taged" as "[SPAM]" at one point. We have a lot of spam taged. from time to time we try to delete, but it is to much and is not lokking very nice.

Or is there any Option, the support team can to for us. We have i the forum.egroupware.org 10 Subforums ind may langages and we can not watch all at the same time. With the Migration from nabble 1 to nabbe2 we would like to have now better clean start.

Hi Ralf, forum owners don't have an automated way to do this. Only Nabble admins have tools to easily get rid of spam. I will watch your forum and run such deletions once in a month. When we migrated it to Nabble2, we deleted more than 3,000 spam messages in the egroupware forum. It is very clean at this point. I left only two threads tagged as spam in your forum:
http://n3.nabble.com/Dojo-Buttons-inside-TitlePane-do-not-appear-until-after-hover-in-Dojo1-4-tp74109p74115.html
http://n3.nabble.com/SPAM-bug-feature-in-host-nslookup-command-queries-wrong-server-tp182668p182668.html

I assume they are good messages, right?

I found a big Spam Problem in that subforum.

http://n3.nabble.com/egroupware-italian-f299526ef219119.html

Here are 95% Spam.

Can you try to run you scripts to that forum. I started to delete some spams, but I got crazy.

I am not sure, if it is better to delete or what to do?

Please help us a little with that forum.

I removed hundreds (maybe thousands) of spam messages from that forum, but it is still has spam. I'm not sure what we can do in this sense because this would take hours to clean up. It would be great if new messages arrive with the "[SPAM]" prefix in the subject.

Re: Italian Forum

Ralf Becker
Hi,

I run through that forum and cleaned it up by myself as well. Now this forum is clean.

I also keep an eye on this formum an delte every week the new Spam and it is now not so much than it was before. I deletet also hundrets of messages.

My biggest Problem is now, that everytime a delete a message form the forum, I will be NOT stay in that page, I will be direkted to page 1. This is a problem, if you clean up page 50 of 200 and you start everytime from page 1 and you have to run Page 4,Page8,... to come to the page to continue the work.

If you could fix this, would be very great. It took me hours, weeks, to clean it all our forums up, but I will do this work.

I think you should open posts in a new tab. For example, you go to page 50 and open all spam posts in a new tab and remove them from the forum. Then go back to the tab where page 50 is and press F5 to refresh it.
