Hi Both,

Just logged into Lizzie's forum on my desktop (Linux Mint and Firefox.) Gained access successfully without seeing a Cookie Consent screen. However, as expected, after my registration, I encountered the Access Request screen.

@Lizzie,
If the Nabble archive is simply there to provide a more user-friendly interface to view posts on your Google Group, and you don't wish anyone to post via Nabble then you should the permissions like this:

View: Anyone: checked

Create_topic: All boxes: clear

Reply: All boxes: clear

Hi Haozwang and Greg,

Many thanks to both of you!

Haozwang:
I was able to Log In fine this time - no sign of the "Cookie Screen" with the "dead buttons" for "accepting" or "rejecting" cookies (the buttons were "greyed out" and I could not read exactly what they said.

Greg:
Thank you for explaining about Nabble "accounts" and how they apply to specific forums, rather than being "Nabble wide" across the platform.  That feature has had my "Password Manager" program just as baffled as I was!

Thank you also for the advice about the permission settings. I think that is how I set them a few days ago but they might have been different before that :-)

Many thinks to you both for all your help!

Best wishes,

Lizzie
