Backup The DataBase?

i was wondering how to back up the database and maybe upload it to another forum?
i saw something like this on PhpBB so i wondering if nabble could do it?

Soon we will let users download their forums in XML format, but uploading that data to another forum will not be automatic and may require programming skills or a good tool to convert the information.
