BUG: Deleted Posts Remain Accessible

Discovered while testing the Reply to Author bug report:

Anyone choosing to Reply To Author can read the contents of a "Contents Deleted By Author" post within the quote tags in the message edit box.

Can you please illustrate this issue with images?
I have check this on my test site and it seems to be working properly.  Please see the images below:

Image displayed to another user after click on "Reply to autor".

Maybe it's a slightly unusual circumstance. I noticed it here:

When logged in as GregAdmin, the only registered user, I see this when I respond to an unregistered user's post and hit the QUOTE button:
