A little issue, nabble forum loading

bangdance
I 've just installed nabble forums on both my websites,
Great piece of software, but Im having an issue with the  forum actually loading ie is showing security issues and chrome  I have to  click the forum name in the page, the sites are  hosted on weebly
Are these issues with nabble settings or an issue with weebly etc

cheers ian

Ian - I don't understand the question.  What I see when I click on the links is shown below.  That seems fine, but I don't know what they are supposed to look like.  Can you post a screen grab of what you want them to look like?

And, take a peek at my site to see how I've done it: http://www.garysgaragemahal.com/

Hi Gary,

I, too, don't understand the question as phrased, but I'm going to guess it relates to the issue your had.

Both these sites are hosted on Weebly with SSL turned on, so they appear embedded within a site using the https:// protocol.

Nabble doesn't work with SSL and all you see is a link to the forum that then opens in a new tab. You'll need to explain the option you used to kill the SSL.

Good catch, Greg.

As shown below, go to Settings/General and turn SSL off:

Re: A little issue, nabble forum loading

Thanks, but I'm not quite sure what the question is.  So I'll guess.

The forum is 7 months old and we have a bit over 100 users.  But many of those users were previously or still are active members on another forum, so know each other to some extent.  And I was able to model my forum from the other one, which got us started fairly quickly.

However, it is possible that you aren't differentiating between the forum itself and the website.  The forum resides on Nabble's servers and the website resides on Weebly's servers.

Did I answer the question?
